What has happened in 2024 and how are we already so close to 2025?
Life post-COVID has just been a place of uncertainty and no one has been immune to the chaos. From Katt Williams and his explosive interview with Shannon Sharpe to kick off the year, to the downfall of Diddy, 2024 has brought us some moments that had us scratching our heads.
Most recently, Royce Reed isn’t holding back when it comes to her baby daddy.
The former Basketball Wives cast member has declared war against Dwight Howard, the father of her 17-year-old son, Braylon Joshua Howard, and is airing it all out online. The former reality star claimed that there had been false accusations, lies about her, and threats against her.
“When they take it low, I do not take it high; I take it to hell. And now, you’re going to get what you asked for. I had a baby by Superman, and here’s his f**king kryptonite,” Reed said. One of Dwight Howard’s nicknames is Superman.

Reed created a separate Instagram account, @ihadababybysuperman, where she uploaded a number of videos detailing her relationship with Howard beginning in July 2004. According to the former dancer, she met the NBA star during his rookie year with the Orlando Magic and began a relationship with him while working for the team.

According to reports from BOSSIP, after finding out Howard cheated on her with another dancer, Reed claims that the two rekindled leading to her pregnancy. She alleges the former NBA player agreed to pay for an abortion but gave her radio silence when the time came to secure the procedure. Reed claims that her parents also refused to help her. With nowhere else to turn, she resorted to trying to end her pregnancy with home remedies.
Reed admits that she was willing to do the unthinkable to salvage her dance career, which she felt would be irreparably damaged by a pregnancy. Ultimately, she decided to forego the abortion and carry it to term.
Reed claims that Howard later offered her an undisclosed amount of money to move away and deny his relationship to their child.

Howard has been pretty much mute about Reed’s social bombs and has been, seemingly, enjoying his time with his new fiancee, rapper Amy Luciani.
