J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival Will Continue Under New Branding After 2025
Despite initial concerns, J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival will continue after 2025 — just under a different name.
Dreamville and Roc Nation rep Sascha Stone Guttfreund made the announcement during a press conference on Thursday (April 3). She shared that their team is committed to bringing large-scale music festivals to Raleigh, NC, for years to come. While details about the new branding are still under wraps, the update comes as welcome news for fans who were disappointed by Cole’s earlier statement that the Dreamville Festival would come to an end.
“We’re going to be here for years to come. This is a multi-year deal, and we’re so excited to be working with the city of Raleigh together on something new and exciting — and to continue to build on this incredible thing that we’ve done over the years,” said Guttfreund.
Raleigh City Manager Marchell Adams-David added: “We’re using the Dreamville label to a certain extent. He [Cole] will obviously be involved. Whether or not he headlines — that’s probably not going to be an occurrence. But he is a local resident. He is totally committed to this community, and he is totally committed to this festival.”
City leaders say the rebranded festival will continue at Raleigh’s Dorothea Dix Park for at least the next four years.
This weekend’s Dreamville Festival — the final one under the original branding — will be headlined by J. Cole, Lil Wayne, Erykah Badu, and 21 Savage. The lineup also includes GloRilla, Coco Jones, BigXthaPlug, Ludacris, Tems, and more.
