Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR have officially knocked Kendrick Lamar’s GNX from the number one spot on the Billboard Top 200 chart with their new collaboration album.

$ome $exy $ongs 4 U, which dropped on Valentine’s Day, is now Drake’s 14th number one album in the last 15 years and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s first. Drake is now tied with Jay-Z and Taylor Swift for the most number one hits for a solo artist in Billboard’s 69-year history. Other iconic artists who have topped the chart include Michael Jackson and The Beatles, who have the most number one entries.

As of last week, $some $exy $ongs 4 U earned more than 240,000 units in its first week of sales. However, despite its success, the project fell short compared to the first week of sales for Kendrick’s GNX, which earned 287 million streams.

The Billboard Top 200 chart, which launched in 1956, ranks the most popular albums in the U.S. based on sales, streaming and airplay. Over the years, it has become a benchmark of musical success, and with its evolving methods of measurement, it continues to reflect the changing landscape of the music industry for both established legends and emerging stars.
