Federal prosecutors have reportedly filed a superseding indictment against Sean “Diddy” Combs and it includes two new female victims, as well as allegations that his crimes date back to 2004.

Diddy’s initial indictment only detailed crimes starting in 2008 and included one victim, the Hip Hop mogul’s ex-girlfriend and singer, Cassie. Over the past few weeks, prosecutors and Diddy’s defense team have battled in court over the number of alleged victims included in the case.

Before this new expanded indictment, Diddy’s lawyers argued that the allegations made by Cassie, identified as “Victim 1” in the initial indictment, are not evidence of sex trafficking. “There’s one victim in the indictment … it’s not 50,” an attorney for Combs recently told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins. “What they did, and it’s a little too cute, is it’s 50 witnesses or victims – well it’s one victim. That’s all that’s in the indictment.”

However, the updated indictment alleges that Diddy coerced at least three women into performing commercial sex acts to fulfill his desires and assaulted other women and employees, including fashion designer Bryana “Bana” Bongolan by dangling her from Cassie’s apartment balcony. Although the new indictment doesn’t include any new charges, these accusations strengthen the prosecution’s case against Diddy regarding the racketeering conspiracy.

Prosecutors claim that the expanded indictment will not delay court proceedings. Diddy’s trial is still scheduled to start on May 5.
