A$AP Relli Testifies Against A$AP Rocky In Shooting Trial
A$AP Rocky’s former friend A$AP Relli testified against the rapper about their intense altercation that allegedly led to A$AP Relli being shot in November 2021.
Rocky is accused of being the shooter that day, stirring up a storm of drama and tension with the A$AP Mob collective, leaving fans, industry insiders and the public alike on edge as the case unfolds.
Relli, whose real name is Terell Ephron, has claimed that Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, shot him in the hand after a heated argument. Relli reportedly told authorities that Rocky fired a handgun at him during a dispute between the two in Hollywood, with the shot grazing his hand. The shooting allegedly took place after a series of back-and-forth tensions.
Relli recently testified during the trial and recalled telling Rocky, “You better use that sh**t,” after Rocky allegedly pulled out a gun on him. He went on to explain that he was willing to die for his respect.
Rocky was arrested in April 2022 after an investigation into the shooting, but he has maintained his innocence. His legal team has countered Relli’s accusations, suggesting that the incident was a misunderstanding and that the gun was actually a movie prop.
For A$ASP Rocky, the trial comes at a particularly sensitive time, as his career continues to ride high with new music, fashion ventures and his role as father to his and Rihanna’s two sons. Rihanna is rumored to possibly appear in court in the coming weeks as the trial continues.
Before the trial started, Rocky reportedly turned down a plea deal that would’ve sentenced him to three years of probation with a seven-year suspended prison sentence and 180 days in the county jail. He’s now facing 24 years in prison if convicted by a jury.
