Beyonce’s Foundation Donates $2.5 Million For LA Fire Relief
It’s been a week since more than 100 fires have blazed across Los Angeles and firefighting teams are still doing their best to contain and put them out. According to reports, 24 people have died and thousands of others are displaced after losing their homes. However, among all the devastation, there’s still some good being done in the world, and Beyonce is one of the celebrities leading the charge.
The singer’s BeyGood Foundation has donated $2.5 million dollars to those in Altadena and Pasadena who have lost homes, churches and community centers. The nonprofit made the announcement on their Instagram page over the weekend.

However, BeyGood isn’t the only organization stepping up to the plate. Walt Disney Company has pledged to donate $15 million for relief and rebuilding efforts, and Warner Music, Live Nation, The Lakers and The Recording Academy have also made million-dollar pledges.
After her big Christmas Day performance at the Ravens v. Texans game, Beyonce revealed that she would make a big announcement on January 14, but that has now been postponed due to the devastation the wildfires have caused. The superstar posted the news on her Instagram page.

Just two weeks into 2025, the LA wildfires have burned up more than 38,000 acres so far, and firefighters are still facing increasingly stronger winds that could cause more fire eruptions in the coming days.
