Diddy Denied Bail For A Third Time
Diddy did not get to spend Thanksgiving with his family, after he was denied bail for a third time on Thanksgiving Eve.
A judge denied the $50 million bail proposal package presented by the Hip Hop mogul’s defense team, which included 24-hour surveillance and no cell phone use.
However, the presiding judge ruled that the latest proposal was still not sufficient to ensure the safety of the case’s witnesses and the community. The judge went on to explain that the evidence against Diddy shows that he’s a “serious risk” of witness tampering and serves as proof that he has tried to hide prohibited communications with third parties while incarcerated.
This ruling comes after Diddy was hit with another lawsuit from fashion designer Bryana “Bana” Bongolan, who claims Diddy dangled her over a 17th-floor balcony at Cassie’s apartment. She’s suing him for $10 million in damages for emotional distress. Bongolan also claims that she is a witness to the abuse Cassie suffered at the hands of Diddy.
Diddy has pled not guilty in his sex trafficking case, denying all allegations that he coerced and abused women for years, with significant assistance from associates and employees. His trial is scheduled to begin May 2025.
