NBA YoungBoy Pleads Guilty in Prescription Drug Case
The 25-year-old rap star appeared in court yesterday to plead guilty to charges related to a large-scale drug prescription fraud ring in Utah.
Initially facing 46 charges, NBA YoungBoy confessed to multiple counts of identity fraud, forgery and unlawful pharmacy conduct. He enter a “no contest” plea for for the remaining charges. The rapper will have to pay a $25,000 fine and stay on probation for five years.
However, NBA YoungBoy won’t spend any time in jail, at least not for this case. The judge suspended his sentence due to NBA YoungBoy being required to serve 27 months in federal prison for related charges in a federal case in Weber County.
Unfortunately, the talented rap artist has a long criminal history, dating back to his first arrest in 2015 for robbery. He was 15 years-old at the time.
