Rich Homie Quan’s cause of death has officially been ruled as an accidental drug overdose, according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner.

The Atlanta-based rapper, known for his hits like “Type of Way,” tragically passed away on September 5 at the age of 34. The toxicology report from the autopsy done on Rich Homie Quan’s body revealed multiple substances in his system, including fentanyl, alprazolam, codeine, promethazine and THC. Authorities confirmed that there was no evidence of trauma, and his death was officially ruled an accident.

On the day of his death, Rich Homie Quan was found unresponsive in his Atlanta home. Despite his loved ones’ initial assumptions that he was asleep, a later check revealed that he was not breathing.

His family, friends and fans mourned his loss with a public homegoing celebration held in Georgia last month.
