School Ref Suspended For Making Black Wrestler Cut Off Dreadlocks

Alan Maloney a high school wrestling referee forced a black student-athlete to cut off his dreadlocks in order to avoid disqualification.
An investigation was launched and it was concluded that Maloney would have to serve a two-year suspension before he is allowed to officiate another match.
He will also be required to receive implicit bias training.
