Mayor Picks New Orleans Chief As New Baltimore Police Commissioner Nominee

Mayor Catherine Pugh has selected New Orleans Police Superintendent Michael S. Harrison, as new pick for consideration for Baltimore Police Commissioner. This comes a day after her first pick, Joel Fitzgerald withdrew as nominee.
Harrison has been with the New Orleans Police Department for 27 years and chief since 2014.
The Baltimore City Council still has to confirm his nomination.
