8.  Derrick

Tiffany Dubois’ husband Derrick is the only male character on the show with a rock solid relationship. He knows his wife better than she knows herself sometimes, and he’s always giving the other guys advice on how to do it right. His character is very refreshing to see in a world that normalizes dysfunctional relationships.

Pro: Great Husband

7. Jared

Jared was the only good guy Molly had dated in a while and he was always kind, honest and upfront with her. His past sexual experiences caused her to cut him off prematurely, but even then, he still let her back in his life — until she cut him off again. Now he has a new girlfriend, and still has no hard feelings toward Molly.

Pro: Great guy, always honest

Con: Put up with Molly’s isht too many times

6.  Andrew a.k.a. “Asian Bae”

Andrew may be a new edition to the show, but so far he shows no signs of f***boi-ness. He actually likes Molly, and unlike the other guys she’s been with, he’s not afraid to tell her about herself. Molly is learning to hold herself accountable for her own action, thanks to a lil shade thrown by Andrew.

Pro: Doesn’t refrain from telling Molly her attitude stinks

5. Lawrence

Here’s where things get interesting. Lawrence has a good heart. He loved/loves Issa. He never cheated and always treated her good. But after Issa’s one mistake, he couldn’t find it in himself to forgive her, even though he wasn’t giving her what she needed at the time. He slut shamed her for a whole two seasons then went on to have chlamydia. Issa may have ignited the f***boi-ness in Lawrence, but it was always there.

Pro: Has good morals and values

4. Chad

Lawrence may catch all the wrath from social media for being a f-boy, but we can thank his buddy Chad for that. Chad is the worse kind of f-boy there is — he moves through life like he’s single, leads other women on and encourages his homies to do the same thing. But somehow he’s confused when his girl finds out about his infidelities and breaks up with him. What’s worse is that he pretends to not feel a way about it. SMH.

Pro: Urges Lawrence to take Issa back

Con: Unapologetic F-boy

3. Nathan

We’ve all experienced a Nathan situation before. They come into YOUR life and bother YOU. They reignite the love in you with no intentions on returning it back. Then they ghost you. Then they show up with an excuse (that may or may not be valid), but it doesn’t justify the fact that they didn’t have the gull to let you know why they fell back. Tsk, Tsk.

Molly may have known that Dro was married while dating him, but Dro is the one that’s married at the end of the day. He wanted his cake and to eat it to, then was defensive when Molly finally stood her ground. Ever since then, he’s given Molly the cold shoulder and now his wife is pregnant. But do you think that’ll stop him from embarking on his next open relationship adventure? Probably not.

Daniel is the worst kind of f-boy. His intentions are good, he always there for Issa when she needs him. But when things get too tense, he tends to put the blame on Issa, and worse — he brings up everything he’s ever done for her throws it in her face. Toxic! He’d rather be prideful than to express his true feelings.

Con: Arrogant and prideful, yet Insecure
