Power Season 3's Key Players and Bold Predictions!

he countdown for Starz most watched series Power has officially begun. Season 3 of the hit show executive produced by Courtney Kemp Agboh and 50 Cent looks to build off the tremendous momentum last season ended with.

Season 3 has Ghost attempting to go legit but unfortunately there a lot of people who want to see him dead. The main focus will be Ghost vs his former friend and partner Tommy!

With season 3 of Power set to explode on our televisions on its new day Sunday, we decided to make some bold POWER predictions for each of season 3’s power players. Hit the gallery below  to see our bold predictions for season 3 of Power.

Ghost

Fitting this seasons mantra is “Ghost Must Die” but technically he already is dead. James St.Patrick’s drug dealing persona was laid to rest by him last season so he could go legit. James thinks he tied up all of the loose ends last season by killing off all of his enemies especially Kanan. We already know that Kanan isn’t dead and that James has even more people coming after him now. James is back in control of Truth plus the two other nightclubs he got from Stern’s wife. Most importantly he separated himself from Tasha and got his girl Angela back.

Prediction

Ghost is public enemy number one right now and doesn’t have many friends. Yeah he has a new ally in Dre and there is Angela but even they have some reason to turn against him. Now that his former partner Tommy is no longer on his team and both Lobos and Kanan are still alive and breathing James won’t be able to escape his past as Ghost as easily as he thought. Let’s not forget Tasha is out there looking for him as well. With all these people gunning for him we believe something is going to happen with our favorite main character. There’s just too much heat for him this season and we don’t think he will be able to squeeze his way out this unscathed. Look for this season to end with good old fashion cliff hanger involving Ghost!

Tommy

Tommy is just a confused mess at this point and he doesn’t know who to trust. All he does know though is that his former brother Ghost has got to go. With Lobos, Kanan and Holly all putting the battery in his back to take out Ghost, that will be his sole purpose throughout season 3.

Prediction

Tommy won’t be successful in taking out Ghost himself but with Kanan still in the picture he won’t have too. Deep down we think Tommy still has some love for Ghost and that will play a huge part in his decision this season. We won’t be surprised at all if Tommy actually helps Ghost in some shape or form but will Tommy’s help be enough though?

Kanan

Kanan as we all know is one tough cookie! He escaped his execution by fire and is even more determined to rub out Ghost and reclaim his empire. But will he have the help of Dre who is now working with Ghost James, or Tommy to accomplish his goal? One things for sure Kanan is very persistent when it comes to getting his way

Prediction

We already know Kanan will be a huge pain in the ass for Ghost. We think somehow Kanan will involve both the women in Ghost’s life in his plan to take down his former business partner and exact his revenge. We all know how ruthless he is, hell he killed his own son. Kanan will make it through this season unfortunately and will somehow someway take down Ghost for the time being.

Tasha

Poor Tasha! Not only did she lose her young boo thang Shawn, Jamie officially has kicked her to the curb for Angela. Tasha believes James has something to do with Shawn’s death and is already mad at the man for leaving her for Angela. There’s nothing more frightening on this planet than a black woman scorned and Tasha is as vindictive as they come.

Prediction

We think Tasha got some power moves up her sleeve and we wouldn’t be surprised if she decides to join Tommy or Kanan to help eliminate Ghost just to spite him. Tasha has shown during the previous two seasons that she is willing to do whatever takes to protect herself and her family. She also knows the game and knows Ghost very well making her a very formidable foe for Ghost.

Angela

Angela right now from the look of things is on the top of the world. She saved her job, got rid of Greg’s ass (so she thinks) and got her man back. Is she really happy though? On the surface it would seem so and whats there not to be happy about? Her man Jamie is no longer in the drug game, he owns not one but three clubs now and Tasha is a thing of the past.

Prediction

Greg is still lurking around and that may start her second guessing about Jamie. We think honestly Angela’s conscious might play a role in this as well and we wont be surprised if she turns on Jamie.

Greg

Greg isn’t left a happy camper after his former lover Angela basically lied on him to save Ghost. He was suspended pending an investigation by Mike after she filed a formal complaint of harassment. You think Greg would have just let that slick shit slide? Of course he wouldn’t, now that he has all the time in the world his sole mission is that of revenge.

Prediction

We think Greg will get real close to exposing Angela and Ghost’s relationship but ultimately come up short somehow someway. Angela and Ghost are both sly and cunning and put both of them together they will easily thwart Greg’s plans to do them in and clear his name.

Dre

Dre is the wild card in all of this. We last left him he was vying for a position on team Ghost after he seen just how ruthless Kanan can be. Ghost was initially skeptical of Dre and his intentions but it seems he earned his trust in the end when he came to Ghost’s aid during his confrontation with Tommy. In this new season Dre is now Ghost’s right hand man and bodyguard since he is now legit. But is that what Dre truly wants ?

Prediction

Dre is in the best position out of all the characters this season to make a huge power move. He may seem to have Ghost’s back, BUT also we still are not sure if he completely cut ties with Kanan as well. Maybe Dre is just positioning himself to become boss himself. One things for sure we look for Dre to come out a winner this season one way or another.

Mike

When Lobos said he had friends in high places no one knew he was talking about Mike. Then again his spanish was waaaaaaayyy too good also. In one of season 3’s biggest bombshells Mike revealed himself to be Lobos inside guy. Mike delivers Lobos a phone while he is in the hospital recovering from his stab wounds. Lobos makes the call to Tommy offering him an opportunity of a lifetime.

Prediction

We think Angela will somehow find out exactly who her boss Mike really is and assist in exposing thus getting him removed from his position. In the process throwing a big monkey wrench in Lobos plans, but we also think Mike will stir up the pot a lot before he gets caught this season as well.

Lobos

The infamous Lobos got himself locked up last season and not to mention almost killed thanks to a Ghost sanctioned shanking. Unfortunately for Ghost he lived and is now an even bigger thorn in his side. To make matters worse for Ghost, Lobos recruits Tommy to take out Ghost so he can take over the business that Ghost put on ice. If Tommy refuses he will put the Holly and the dog on ice. Tommy pretty much has no choice and plus wants back in so of course he’s going to do it.

Prediction

Lobos will ultimately fail in the end on his end, but don’t think this will be the last we hear from the drug lord. He’s still quite crafty behind bars and Mike is definitely not his only “friend” in high places.

Holly

Holly just won’t go away, let’s be real we can’t stand her at all but that’s just true testament to Lucy Walters acting skills. Holly is one of the many voices in Tommy’s head driving his anger towards his former friend Ghost. After she revealed to her boyfriend that Ghost paid her to vanish, Tommy lost it and officially had it with Ghost. Now with Tommy eating from her hand she looks to use her boo to get the revenge she couldn’t attain on Ghost for what he did to her.

Prediction

We think Holly won’t make it out this season, now by whose hands she bites the dust is another story. Will it be Ghost who made Holly leave and warned her not to come back or risk death? Will it Dre doing the bidding of his boss Ghost to take out Holly? Or will it be by her love interest Tommy? If we had to put money down it would be on Ghost but we would be shocked if Holly didn’t meet her demise this season.

One things for sure we can’t wait to watch Power this Sunday we have been waiting forever for this!
